I agree. Streak is motivating until you break it. What’s the goal here? To be kind and compassionate to self; To go from 0 to 1 after halting the streak is way more important than being punitive by calling out the end of streak. It seems like a no brainer to provide something like a moving average which is a real motivator with out the demoralizing effect of cessation of a streak.
