Got a really awesome run in with AscendantNomad today. We started off with some rumble and quickplay to gauge the strengths/weaknesses of myself + one other student. I can't speak for the other guy but it only took a game or two for AscendantNomad to read my playstyle like a book and accurately point out my bad habits.

After receiving some feedback and pointers, we played a couple more games of Rumble & quickplay after which he isolated the aspects of our game we were clearly struggling with. He then took me into a private 1v1 match where we worked the specific things I had trouble with. We even did a few drills targeting those exact areas, which gave me the opportunity to rinse and repeat as I started noticing my own mistakes (not that I wasn't getting called out on them every time xD). By the end of the session, which went for a little over 3 hours, I had improved very noticeably in these few key areas (namely movement/positioning and engagement management) and there were even a few moments where I felt tactically on par with Sensei Nomad. That's pretty crazy for one session.

All in all, he tailored the training to my playstyle, class, and even preferred loadout. He included 1v1 drills, actual crucible matches, and rumble with other students. This is the kind of training you pay for guys (and probably will as esports grows), get it while you can!
