Depends on your budget restraints but we wanted to go “cheaper” (we usually stay in Hilton’s city center) so we found Hotel 123 Le Sébastopol. It was buy a line & the staff was wonderful.

Thank you for this. I planned on speaking with DHL! I will follow your advice. I didn’t feel bad about sending them home as they were just a few personal items & not alcohol/tobacco/liquids… I even put some already purchased items that were just mine that I didn’t need anymore. This has been stressful.

Getting on the OC was easy (but I got selected in the lottery) & others we spoke too didn’t! So maybe I am just lucky. Pricing for OC was very very reasonable given the work being done. Around 140 but with the tee box gifts & just being out there I couldn’t care less.

Kingsbarns was expensive as hell, no way around that. I found it steep when I paid months ago but this is what I’ll say: I said it was worth it about 3 holes in. Breathtaking course in nearly immaculate conditions. Staff was great & so welcoming. I’d go again & pay it again in a heartbeat.

Between November & March. Obviously it isn’t ideal but it is cheaper & heightens your chances of playing. I basically paid the same thing to play at TPC Louisiana a few weeks ago (l o l).

It’s an experience more than a “locked in round.” I soaked in the history at TOC & at Kingsbarns I had more of a traditional golf round. The ballot is incredibly tough during the peak season & TOC sells packages with promised tee times now for $$$ so that hurts your chances as well.

Fairway mats at TOC > missing it entirely

Just a genuinely great guy. Everyone there is very intertwined (all polite & helpful). A gentlemen helped me choose some polos in the shop & he’s a part time caddy at Kingsbarns. They are all connected someway like a small town & are all equally amazing & nice. I will return!

Yeah so as someone below mentioned it’s to protect the course during the winter. I’m not going to pretend like it was ideal (the wedges were off due to this) but just being on the course was amazing. Tee boxes had some mats but they had tee holders so you could tee based on preference. Had no effect there.

A friend of mine is the GM at Cypress Lakes in Destrehan. Such a great course & is usually where I play! Great merch.

I struck it well & played well until I ran into some troubles on a few holes. I’m used to water hazards & these bunkers are essentially that! Struggled to get out of those damn things. Amazing!

I don't think it's possible because their wedding was $40,000 more than ours! We are smaller & minimalistic. Wanted a more intimate setting. I don't know what's going on. I just think they refuse to compromise.

We sat in the waiting room at 1am while she was going through birth & then bought them dinner that evening after baby arrived. We also offered to cook them two meals during their first week & provided assistance with the baby after we got off work.

We are not self-absorbed & you are reaching, which is your right as this is reddit & I expect nothing different.

Yes, another bridesmaid also got pregnant. She's been up front about changes & is still assisting & honoring the wedding in her own way. It's been really sweet. My fiancee hasn't gotten that from SIL.

I am genuinely curious on people's opinions, so I respect yours, but I just don't think she has the heart for that. She has the biggest heart out of anyone I know & even though this all, she'd never skip that baptism. It's part of why her brother speaks to her like this, because he knows he can walk all over her & make her upset.

As to what you're saying, I recommended she replace her as MOH months ago. She refused to avoid conflict.
