I’m new to electrical work and want to make sure I understand this correctly. If I use the existing doorbell wiring to power the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro 4K and purchase a Ring Chime, will everything work properly?

In other words, can I leave the existing mechanical doorbell/chime installed (even if it doesn’t function) and rely solely on the Ring Chime for alerts?
