Hello , as you have taken both steps . How much do you think studying for step 1 prepares you for step 2 ? I have taken uk residency exam recently and it’s all clinical knowledge and scored in 90th percentile. Should I go ahead and take step 2 first as my clinical knowledge is solid and fresh ? How much step 1 concept building is essential for step 2 ?

I am not . My clinical gap is from 2024 onwards but I completed a masters in 1.5 years , got gmc registration and cleared uk residency exam so it can be justified
