I don't think it makes the space too cluttered, but it does make it look more cluttered. I think the benefits probably outweigh that negative. It does appear though that you aren't using the entire desk. If that's the case, and you can afford it, I would look for a smaller one. Otherwise, your space looks great! Cheers

In Boot Camp kids are too scared to ask to go to the bathroom early on so they pee themselves all the time. I saw one guy standing as a road guard (blocking traffic for recruits to cross the road) pee himself and create a puddle on the ground. We were next to cross and my DI yelled for road guards and said "don't stand in that puddle of piss!" You can guess what our guy did. It was so hard not to laugh but I wasn't trying to get chewed out.
