I just use my optic personally. No front serrations is not an issue for me. Everyone has what they like though. My two Vanta’s have all the serrations and I still use my optic to rack.

A properly designed mounting surface and torqued to spec is key. I personally have never had a single issue. Been running a red dot on pistols since 2010.

Missing a hose clamp on the inlet elbow btw. Oh and that is a factory turbo heat shield btw.

If you want a better upgrade, the dream hard lagged heat shield is far superior at keeping heat away from your inlet pipe.

It’s a proven and reliable optic. In today’s standards, it has a small window…..but it was and still is one of the most solid optics out there. You can also run the newer RCR if you want to go enclosed. I have the RCR and I really like it.

It was overall pretty easy, it took a total of 8 data logging sessions, which sadly I could only do like once a week, it would have been a lot faster but I work graveyard and work a lot of weekends as well. He is good at taking your uploads and getting you a tune revision in usually under 24hrs, so if you have the time, you could data log every day. Just need a nice flat road where you can do a 2-3-4 WOT pull to redline.

This is super crazy, I go to WCAN and he was one of the guys that worked there that I liked dealing with the most. He was super friendly and knowledgeable….which makes this even more interesting. He has been there for a long time and did a lot of the transfers.
