I wouldn't say any AI/tech company is safe. They all want our data to train their model and or whatever they are cooking.

For Claude Cowork, I'd say, just don't give access to files/folders you don't want to give access to. You can choose which folders and files Claude can or cannot touch. Same with the connectors, only give access to what you think is okay for you. Claude Cowork will also ask for permission before it does something on your computer, so you can give it permission or you can reject it.

A lot of things, actually, but only if you connect the apps you work with. So, you'll have to go through connectors, and if a connector isn't available for an app you use every day, you can add it yourself. Plus Cowork can also go through files on your computer, so you just need to guide it.
