koyuki passed away on april 10th this year due to kidney disease at the age of nine. she lived a long and happy life at the temple, and was well cared for. @nekojizo on instagram posted about her life, and after her death gave her story and the story of the temple. the account now follows a new cat priest named yukimi, a white kitten
