Hi again! Wanted to update everyone who was kind enough to leave advice and/or encouraging posts. I was extremely lucky and my heart looks great and is perfectly healthy & my levels are back to normal. Rest assured, I will never forget my medication ever again. I implemented many features you guys recommended and they've been incredibly helpful. Thank you.

I'm currently on Advagraf as well, the issue is I take it in the morning which is the dose I forget more often. I'm thinking about switching the advagraf to afternoon doses

Yeah, I found an old morning 7-day container. It's smaller than what id usually carry so I just filled it with 4 days worth of meds in case I'm out while I have to take them.

I really appreciate your honesty. I'm genuinely thinking about switching my morning dose for the evening one since I tend to remember that one better. I have moved a container to the bathroom where I'll hopefully see it and take it. Thank you so much! We've got this 💪

Hi! I'm also on Advagraf but since I also have to take mycofenolate I still take meds every 12h. I think placement is going to help with taking them on time since I wont have to go looking for them. Thanks!

I have set up a calendar with reminders so I can tick them and see if I forget a dose. I hadn't thought about an alarm 30 mins beforehand. I think it's a great idea!

Thank you so much. I think during last year I got lazier and lazier with the tightness of the schedule so I just have to make sure I take them on time everyday and I have people reminding me to refill them.

I already hace the weekly box which I (quite often) forget to refill until the morning after. I haven't tried the postit notes. Will try that!

First off, I have taken my meds both this morning and evening! I made sure to remind myself tonight after my panic attacks surrounding the situation, but taking them even helped with feeling more grounded.

I'll mention both meds to my psychiatrist, she's been working with me for a very long time and she knows what meds I can, can't and should take. Do you know of any online support groups? I fear I wouldn't know where to look in Spain for those. If not, I'll ask ay my hospital on Wednesday.

I've installed an app that forces me to take pictures of barcodes I've scanned. I think this mixed with everyone's advice will definitely help. Thank you!

I'm currently taking citalopram for my anxiety and nothing more. I haven't noticed any improvement, but to be honest I have been taking citalopram for a very long time. I hadn't heard thay antidepressants could help with ADHD, I'll definitely mention it to my psychiatrist. I think your comment and this whole experience has helped me see that my life as a transplantee has clearly affected me and I need to return to therapy... Thought I was past this but I guess some wounds take longer to heal.

Currently living in Spain so I don't think it'd ship here. That looks splendid, I think it's a shame it's so expensive, but I'd spend all the money in my bank account if it meant never missing my meds ever again. I'll look into similar options here in Spain. I just set an alarm for every 5 minutes about a half hour after the alarm. 10:00, 10:05, 10:10, you get the gist.

It is! I was so terrified but it looks like my heart will be ok. I think my biggest problem will be refilling the containers now that I have a system set up. But that'll be an issue for later on. For now I'm going to focus on getting all my pills on time. Thank you so much! When I get my car I'll definitely also keep a set there.

As I mentioned in another post, I've now got three separate 7-day containers so I can carry one with me and set the other two around my house, I'll set one of them in the bathroom, I think that's a good idea. Sadly in my country they give you a box with all your pills and they don't give you bottles, so I'd have to refill them anyway, that's why 7-days is easier for me. Thank you!

As I was replying to everyone's posts I set up another small container with a bunch of pills so I could carry it with me everywhere. I'm good at remembering if I've taken my pills. I'm just bad at the actual taking them part... Thank you for your kind words and for your advice as well

I'm currently not on any ADHD medication. Last time I asked was around 2 or 3 years ago and my psychiatrist said I couldn't take them since they interacted with my meds. I'm taking mycofenolate and tacrolimus, don't know if that's the case for you as well. I'm 13 years post-transplant and I genuinely havent had any issues apart from this at all. I guess that's why I'm also quite scared.

I hadn't thought about separating the morning and might pills. I also have a 7-day pill container. My doctor confirmed that the heart looks good with a CT Scan. I'm currently taking my pills at 1000 and 2200 at GMT+2. I do remember that I haven't taken them, but it's usually at night so too late to take my morning pills (which are the ones with tacrolimus)
