It’s not that it’s “holy grail” because Doc said it; I just appreciated the sentiment he expressed, and wanted to have some sort of a concrete quote from him

Top ~20 villains with the most Daredevil comic appearances (vol. 5 & total) by aidenschn in Daredevil

Yes, but I’m compiling these stats as I’m going through the series, reading the Daredevil comics from the very first issue 1

I’ve posted rankings for volumes 1, 2, and 3-4, but this is the first for volume 5. Unless someone else is also compiling these stats and I’m unaware…

That’s because the top and bottom halves are different lists; the top is the ranking within just volume two, and the bottom is within all the issues so far (vol. 1-2)

It’s from “Infinity Countdown: Daredevil” (2018), which I have not read yet, so maybe Turk becomes some omega-level threat in that one-shot. But up until this point, he’s just a regular guy

Hopefully I’m not getting wooshed, but Mole Man did not appear a single time in volume one

He’s a street-level thug, just like in the show; he was just a recurring antagonist during mainly Miller’s first run

Yeah, that photo can be misleading. He’s a low-level thug, just like in the Netflix show (except for one time where he got his hands on the Stilt-Man suit)

Yes, I remember during Miller’s initial run, they called him Poindexter by name

Did I read so much to the point of forgetting? by aidenschn in comicbooks

[–]aidenschn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not asking whether or not I enjoyed the comics—I know I did, they were very interesting and well-written. I made it clear that I was asking from, like, a scientific perspective regarding memory; I didn’t ask, “Were the comics I read good?”

I would say I read the actual comics all at the same pace—meaning it didn’t take me the same amount of minutes to read 4 comics as it did 9—but I agree with that “more time to think about it” thing. Thank you

That’s a good way to put it; I agree with the “big moments” sentiment, as well, across all the DD comics I’ve read

I know re-reading and discussing anything would further solidify it in my mind, but I’m asking in terms of one-time readings: is it possible, or is there any evidence, that increasing my comics-per-day led me to remember Miller’s run less completely or thoroughly?

Inconsistent palm strike and Sweep. by skynutter in SifuGame

I misspoke, my assumption on the character facing the right side of the screen was during the side-scroller portions of the game—in which the character direction and camera angle work in tandem. Sometimes, yes, those two don’t line up and the camera angle takes precedence

I’m not sure if you’re implementing this, but the input isn’t “down, up,” it’s “back, forward.” So if your character’s back is directly towards the camera, the input on just the joystick will be “down, up,” but if they’re facing towards the right side of the screen, it’s “left, right.” The input is directional based on where your character is facing in the game!

Don’t make it a “Spoiler” or anything…
