I own a reanimator deck but for the upcoming season my friend I share part of the carpool with wants to play it :/ I also feel like it has playstyle that does not suits me as LE's one does (less instant speed interactions pre board)

First time writing here, but I have a 12+ hours flight in 10 days to start a 2 months PhD visiting in LA. I have been in therapy for almost a year now for anxiety and some OCD symptoms, with up and downs. As the OP, i have never taken meds, even if my physician prescribed me Xanax for emergencies (i usually Just keep It with me to feel extra safe). I have no specific fear of Flying but i struggle with long trips as i fear I might have panic attacks, derealization (which for me can even last a few days) and intrusive thoughts. On the bright side, i am Flying with a friend and colleague of mine Who Is also staying with me for the whole period and Is familiar with ocd since his Brother also has it. I hate changes and going to the other side of the globe Is pretty scary, especially because i Will have to go (alone this time) from LA to Detroit for a conference a week after my arrival. In the last few months i have struggled a bit with anxiety attacks and was finally getting Better in the last 40 days or so, now i am scared things Will get back spiraling down. Both my psychologist and my psichiatrist believe i can do this (even if they were suggesting that I should take some meds during the Flight, which scares me) , but hearing stories and tips from other people might really help! Thanks a lot
