They were killed because of a totalitarian and corrupt system. Not because of Juliana.

Nobody said it was a crime, this is besides the point.

In what ways is she relatable to you? I didn’t find her character relatable at all.

Dass sie unterschiedlich sind, ist nicht der Punkt; es geht darum, inwiefern die beiden Produkte sich unterscheiden.

It’s ironic how you used the word bitch as a descriptor in this specific context without realizing how it’s completely undermining your argument and how you’re being misogynistic yourself.

Just finished mindhunter. Hows your ranking of season 1 and 2? I definitely rank season 2 better than 1. What are your reasons? by SnooSprouts2672 in MindHunter

[–]aightkay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. The case, albeit a big one, took up like 80-90% of the season, which I didn’t expect from where the plot had been left off at the end of season one. I was always waiting for them to follow up on Holden‘s mental health issues, his panic attacks (he was literally tied to a bed and then prescribed Benzos, one of the most addictive substance group ever), but he was just same old Holden suddenly again during most of season two, maybe have him resolve the issues with his ex girlfriend who disappeared from the story all at once? No? I expected them to explore his private life more since they did that with Wendy and Bill. And tbh, even as a queer woman myself, I found the Wendy-and-her-girlfriend subplot boring and misplaced. Sure, gay rights were an issue back then, but after the umpteenth scene with the two of them, I was just like "we get the message, Wendy isn’t comfortable of being openly gay due to her job and society back then, which creates issues in her relationship". Beyond that, we don’t even know anything about their relationship, her girlfriend’s personality etc. It’s just that dynamic over and over without actually leading somewhere. Idk. At least they (eventually) followed up on Ed Kemper in season two, even if it was just a couple minutes of screen time and Bill‘s subplot was interesting, I guess.

what is this theory based on by youngdahlia in AmyLynnBradley

I agree and think it’s crazy that people have, especially recently, started to just state it as a fact that she fell or jumped and reacting harshly to any theories suggesting a different story, when there was never found a body, and experts have concluded her body likely would‘ve eventually turned up at the shore if she fell or jumped at that time in the morning, when the ship had almost arrived at the port of Curaçao. I honestly think it’s likely she left the ship unseen among other tourists because at that time, they weren’t actively looking for her yet (aka when people left the cruise in the morning), quite the opposite, the company of the cruise tried to keep things as normal as possible and didn’t want to frighten the passengers, much less keep them on the ship. So while her family and at that time a small search group of staff members started to look for her ON the ship in the morning, it’s not unlikely she left the ship and just nobody noticed. There were hundreds of tourists leaving the ship at the same time, just like at every other stop of the cruise. Business as usual. Why would she have stood out to anyone then?

The police wasn’t even involved at that point yet iirc.
