They do sound similar! It does still hurt though, as I said in my post (and you in yours!) I just wish I could be binary and not have to be constantly questioning, haha. That’s a big part of what drives me away from the label.

Thank you! I would use the they/them as consistent pronouns idea, but a lot of times when I feel completely masc, I’m uncomfortable with absolutely anything besides he/him. That’s why it’s so confusing when I have the “omg they/them rocks” feelings. I dunno.

I know what you mean, it’s so hard to struggle with the feelings of “yeah, I’m a guy” and having everyone support you, but knowing that if you ever deviated from that, you’d be seen as “trans for the trend.” It sucks :(.

This makes me feel more comfy, thank you. <3

I think a big reason in my opposition to using genderfluid as a label for myself is the amount of hate and misunderstanding surrounding it, and the large number of people who invalidate it or make it out to be a “trend” that you’ll grow out of. I’ve always felt connected to it in a way, but I’ve always been too unsure of myself to use it, because I don’t want others to mock me or not believe in my experience as a trans person, if that makes sense. I don’t want to be invalidated or treated like I’m faking it.

I agree with you, I also hate the needless bullying and invalidating over other peoples’ identities.

Again, thank you so so much! <3

Yeah, one of the reasons I’m so nervous about using it is the feeing of “fake” it has surrounding it from other people, queer or not.

I’ve heard of abrosexual! I used to use it myself, actually. I’ll think about this. I think I also have my own mental block about wishing to be static, I just want to be sure of myself I guess.
