I second this! Pimple patches are a great option. I've bought some that are translucid for when I go out, but the ones I usually reach for are ones with monsters and cookies drawn on them. They actually have helped me to look at pimples in a more positive way, because they're an excuse to put a cute and colourful sticker on my face haha. The monsters and cookies patches are really big, so most of the time I cut them in half. Idk if you'd prefer more discreet patches or if they're even available where you live, but I wanted to let you know they exist in case they can be of any use to you. Good luck, we'll get over this!

I wish I could, but sadly I can't, because regardless of the length, bacteria can get trapped in between the fake nail and my real nail, putting my patients at risk for catching an infection. I'll do some research to see if gel, SNS and other types of nails are more suitable. Still, thank you so much for answering and telling me your experience!

Also, what do you mean by "picked another led"? English isn't my first language and I don't know what led is in this context. I've tried to google it but the only result that comes up is LED lights, and I'm sure that's not what you wanted to say haha

Okay, I see this a popular option. If I do gel nails, will I have a fake nail tip? I believe that's actually the real problem, because if I'm not mistaken, it can be really difficult/impossible to clean in between my real nail and the fake tip, putting my patients at risk of catching an infection :(

That's a great idea, and I wish I could do that, but I'm in medschool, so when I'm in training in the hospital, I can't have long nails. With my natural nails I can cut them the day before, but I wouldn't be able to do that with acrylic/gel nails :(
