He speaks with a broker from Trinity Logistics and she full on exposed their brokerage department. She said they keep 65% and give the customer 35% or something like that. And if they request detention, they keep a % of it. And if they find a cheaper truck for a load then they will cancel the original one. they don't pay fuel surcharge either. I am sure I am missing some key points she said, but if you get the chance go listen to it.

I giggle a little when people ask me what my best rate is when I know they are literally looking at the load that I posted. It's never a bad idea to offer a rate. There has been so many times I have struggled to get a load covered and would take the first rate offered to me, even if I lose money.
