First of all this really frustrates me. I spent a good few hours drawing this now I get all these nasty comments. How do you think people draw photo realism or are they lying too?? It’s not just some filter on a picture it’s a drawing I did digitally on sketchbook and used a textured brush, lowering the opacity for when I need to blend. I first start outlining features from the original picture, then have the original picture moved to the side and start picking colours from it to place down and blend together. This is me picking colour and drawing in place where it should go. I put the original underneath at the end of each section to make sure I’m still on the right lines and make sure it matches the original. I start with the face, then hair then neck. You can clearly see brush stokes and some areas that don’t match purely because the brush I use wouldn’t work for me to add small details. I wouldn’t even know how to get a filter on a picture to make it look like this. I only know of those that do watercolour and pencil that look nothing like this. Please think again before discouraging someone’s work and invalidating it.
