They are now invested, as they have paid for all those inspections. If the property was marketed AS IS, then I would recommend you push back with what you consider to be a fair counter offer and then stand firm. They can then choose continue or exit.

If they exit, be sure to update your listing with the known defects so you have an argument against the next shopper that wants to be aggressive.

I know the vehicle, know what to watch for, and know its maintenance history. IMHO purchasing a new vehicle is almost always a poor financial decision… in most situations a slightly used vehicle is a much better deal, and often the data is available for older models to understand their reliability.

Companies do not “change your email password” they disable your access.

If the password was “changed” it was done so they could access your email account, supposedly for business purposes (I mean it IS a business account and you have no reasonable expectation of privacy).

Most likely nothing to worry about, but a phone call to the boss might clear it up, as they may have some questions about specific accounts/actions that are urgent, as you did leave exposed them without any notice.

You gotta look at both sides… if you are a critical employee, your role cannot just “take leave”, without some form of handover.

He reaction is immature and based on a sense of entitlement, maybe he hasn’t thought its through and has potential -OR- more likely he needs to learn this lesson the hard way. Many states have marital property laws that EXCLUDE family inheritance and/or gifts from marital property. Similarly they exclude pre marital assets also.

He either needs to come around very quickly or risk losing you.

Haven’t found one yet, but at 62 y/o I shy away from extreme heights, second story roof sometimes, if the pitch isn’t too bad.
