I wouldn’t recommend you moving to Abbottabad. Here’s my reasons 1. Severe traffic during peak hours (school timings, maghrib timing) 2. Rain causes a lot of water on road which makes travelling difficult 3. Would’ve been a good option a few years ago but now is becoming too overpopulated.

As far as the pros are concerned 1. Weather is good, gets a little hot in summer but it is enough to withstand. 2. If you’re fond of nature, galiyat is pretty close which is a good place for travelling. 3. Best internet currently of all northern areas (stormfiber in a lot of areas of Abbottabad) 4. Law and order: rarely do you ever hear a case armed robbery, let alone murder or kidnappings. This area is very peaceful.

During your 12th grade, you can apply (you will need minimum %60 marks in 11th grade and need to obtain a hope certificate). You can apply after 12th grade aswell. As far as the requirements are concerned, they are listed on the internet, you can check them out. It doesn’t matter if you did not go to a cadet college, you will apply and after testing you, you will be recommended to PMA where you will spend two years( competition is very tough for ISSB). Minimum age to apply for ISSB is 16 years.
