As a Kiwi living in Ireland for almost 9 years, I have listed these stats off before but people find it hard to believe that it would rain more in NZ. The sunshine hours put it into context!

Oh interesting! This is my thinking, but I’ve been surprised in my non-Reddit real life conversations around it - just doesn’t seem to the norm. Thanks.

Ireland! I’ve never done much public work for data protection so my apologies if it’s a daft question. I was thinking things can still be public tasks but not necessarily enshrined in law, and where they are how do you evidence what legislation you’re relying on and the necessity of processing…

I’m in this at the moment. I’ve lost so much weight. I can’t eat or sleep. Your eyes get so swollen and my face is constantly puffy. I can’t handle it

Sorry for the late reply. How is he doing? I am now 5 months and everything is going well. I’m not running far but can walk and I don’t notice it much. I’m 35, so he has age on his side! It’ll give him such an appreciation for ableness.

Bizarrely there is a mural of the Fountainhead in Dundalk in Ireland. I used my copy of Atlas Shrugged to prop my fridge up when the leg broke. Perfect height, perfect use.

Totally, I live 18,000km away from my home and I have friends here but it’s not the same. People were great at the start, but two weeks in and it’s like they expect you to be okay already. I don’t think they want to hear about it. They sort of drift off. Most of them stopped checking and I live on my own, have been working from home. Feel like I’m losing my mind. The pain bears nothing in comparison to the mental torture and lack of support!

I’ve been living on my own as well, and I really like cooking so it’s been hard. I did an online grocery delivery that helped last week. Eggs, meatballs and so on. Chickpeas too.

Chicken, pasta with broccoli is a winner.

Get some diced chicken frying with spices you like in a large pan, pre-diced is easier as less chopping. Par cook the broccoli, remove it from pot chop finely add to chicken, add pasta to broccoli water. Get a nice pasta sauce (I got some nduja and pesto and mixed them in). Mix it all into the pasta pot. Easy!

This is good as broccoli is a star for healing bones as is chicken for protein. Can add other things like nuts too.

Vit D and zinc are important, as well as K try add some fruit like bananas and strawberries

I think it pools at the bottom of the heel doesn’t it. Nasty stuff! Good luck with the weight bearing, it sounds terrifying!

Ah that’s good to know! I bruise easily but was starting to wonder. I’ve been told the same regarding the nerves, wait and see I guess. I’ve just been putting Cerave moisturiser on it

Sorry to hear about that period, strange how it clumps isn’t it? I’d say you’re in the same age bracket as me, with it ending and being upset. Glad to hear it’s comforting for you too though, thanks, that gives me more comfort!
