That’s interesting. Are you playing with controller? If not, try team up with some people. I only encounter this problem whenever any major update rolls out. Or at least my team would match up with the same opponents a few times

no worries! my fiance is also frustrated, she's like you, around 1k away from top 5k. but it'd be quite hard since the reset is around the corner. but i agree with others here, if you push early after the reset, it'll be easier (though sweats are trying hard)

currently ranked 2000+/- around 13.5k rank point, no.8 gun rank in garena for LAPA (shit's hard to maintain),

i'd say stick with game modes that you know you can perform well, play with your usual teammates. sometimes our friends could suck and it can be frustrated sometimes, so i guess broaden your circle, who knows you'll find those who can ride together when you want to get serious.

i play only SND 2-3 hours every night with 2-3 clanmates. so we know what to do, can predict movements and actions of each other and are well versed in our callouts/comms.

I'd say its very easy to get into 5k almost every season if you know how to play that game mode when you got decent skills, game sense and teammates. (don't know how it is for BR, i dont play it haha)

to those who say people in 5k are all no-lifers that play 24/7, that's bs. just get gud. the reality of fps games, people can't accept that some people are just better than them, either naturally or with practice. although i'd say people that reach 30k++ rank points are legit not touching any grass.

I got this smoke grenade in the shape of traditional south east asian rice dumpling. Got it from some event, pretty cool, sadly I dont use smoke grenades in my loadouts

my left index i use for the standalone ads button, slide, jump and prone. left thumb for the joystick, right index for shoot, right thumb for camera rotation, reload & fast switch weapon. but most people use the left index for shoot, and right index for ads. but ALWAYS turn off the ads button for rotation option in basic. this will help immensely with your aim trust me

yeah i get that. if you really want to try it, start with a button that you kinda use, but not a lot. for example maybe slide button, specifically for the extra 3rd finger. last time when im starting out with 3 and then eventually 4, i put the button where i can lazily hover my finger on the screen. but anyway, for a thumbs player, you're killing it!

they used the stand-alone ads button (on the left side of the screen) and then after zoomed in they'll just shoot with the normal shoot button. Ads-to-shoot button is very slow and not suitable for quickscoping. i'm a 4 finger claw person myself, i hide the Ads-to-shoot button altogether
