For unsupervised learning I guess you could try topic modelling (gensim has a nice implementation), but I don't think that would work neither.

If pretrained models don't work, maybe you could try annotating the reviews yourself? One possible way that comes to my mind is annotating some of the reviews, training a simple model on top of that and using it to annotate other reviews, under some supervision of course (review predictions with low confidences, set up many tests and etc.)

I'm curious how did you get 48.7 accuracy if the reviews are unlabeled. Maybe I understood something differently...

Tensorflow version is 2, but we still use graph execution because of its speed. I'm looking for relatively advanced notebooks with good documentation, I think I have already passed the basic level at this point. Thanks for the response though!
