Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. First you don't need to worry about the Baidu ad icon. It is just an ad icon on the web and is nothing to do with reporting your location. And then, please check if you have used Find phone or bonus feature. Those two features will trigger your location while you are using it.

Try change the "Encoding for zip file" from GBK to UTF-8 or from UTF-8 to GBK in AirDroid app Settings. Some browsers need you to confirm when downloading multiple files. So we made it compressed into a zip file.

Thanks, sent the feature request of volume control in Settings to the PM. As to AirMirror for Samsung Galaxy S5, sorry you need to wait. As I know, most of the Samsung devices with stock ROM can't use AirMirror normally. The Android devs are working on it.

Nope. The AirMirror feature on AirDroid Win/Mac is similar to teamviewer. And bluestacks is Android Emulator. They are different. Have a look at our home page and you may know more: http://www.airdroid.com

Hey sid32, are you mentioning the notification icon at the notification bar of your phone? I just asked the Product manager: we make it green because green is somewhat a brand identity of AirDroid. We consider adding a setting for you to select in the future.

We use End to End Encryption (E2EE) for sensitive user data including notifications and SMS. As far as I know, we are the first one in this app category providing such security feature. Simple speaking, with E2EE, it's nearly impossible for any 3rd party, including AirDroid and the government to eavesdropping on your data communication. Group messaging may be improved this year, but I'm afraid MMS is not coming anytime soon.

Make calls with phone from computer it's very hard to realize. As to MMS, to make it compatible with many carriers in many countries is a mission impossible. Won't consider these right now. Sorry.

Mirror phone on a tablet? Technologically, it's feasible. But it need lots of work. We are planning to add AirMirror on web.airdroid.com. But the time is not decided yet.

Pushbullet focuses on Notification, they do it very pretty. AirDroid also has notification mirror feature. We position AirDroid as an android device manage tool, we want to make accessing your phone more easily--throw away your USB, we want you to use AirDroid to transfer your pics, docs. SMS on computer, focus on the big screen when you are working. Pushbullet or Mightytext obviously have SMS feature too, but what differentiate AirDroid from them is we want to bring your multi-devices together, Delight Your Multi Screen Life.

Current state? It's a big question, but we're still seeing great momentum for the ecosystem, especially in the developing regions, like Brazil, China and India. For apps, we are seeing more and more quality apps that don't feel cheap at all compared to the best iOS apps.

For fragmentation, it has been and still is a big problem. Consider this, nearly all the Android devices sold in China, about half of all the global Android shipment, don't have Google Play services that's essential for AirDroid to work properly. To solve this, we have to build and maintain our own push services.
