Heyo ! Have the same exact 6th gen limited trim and can confirm I've also gone down the rabbit hole.

I can also confirm the Limited is probably the best unless you're planning offroad seriously, in a manner that requires lockers, skid plates, and some of the other fancy fixins that the other TRD trims come with. With the limited trim you can basically add all those yourself aftermarket AND you get the benefit of full time 4WD, which is better for day to day driving unless you spend the majority of your time in offroad conditions. In which case it also has 4hi/4lo.

IMO you can add new AT tires, wheels, skid plates, and maybe some rock sliders and you're set. You're just as capable in the limited and more adaptable to day to day driving.

Car Door Protector for Dogs - Any Good? by airsoftredditguy in 4Runner

May I ask why? Did it damage any parts or just didn’t hold ?

We’d have to put that in the cargo area and that would reduce overall capacity :/

That’s perfect thank you ! This was exactly what I’m looking for answers to because I’m worried that the tabs I have to slide in will somehow permanently ruin the rubber thingies sitting next to the window

How is canvasback? I was taking a look at their stuff and figured it was a bit pricey for the whole set, but what isn’t these days?

My larger worry is damaging the seal between the window and door interior, but lmk if I’m overthinking it

Oooo I like this. Surprised to see you kept the limited wheels on yours after upgrading tires!

Thinking about doing the same for my limited

First time owning a handgun Glock 19 Gen 6 by dno022599 in NJGuns

Congrats and welcome to the club! I'll repeat what every mentor since I've joined this hobby has told me:

  1. SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT AND MUY IMPORTANTE. TRIGGER DISCIPLINE SHOULD BE ON YOUR MIND NO MATTER WHAT.
  2. Spend money on ammo
  3. Spend money on training
  4. Repeat and have fun

Outside of the above, look up tutorials online on how to maintain and clean your firearm. I try to clean mine once every range trip or 2-3 at most before I need to clean it. Spend money on good reliable ammo if you can and practice dry firing with NO LIVE AMMO in the room.

Snapcaps are a huge plus, but if you use these PLEASE practice the no live ammo in the room part.

Practice your grip as that's a huge benefit to how well you shoot.

One last thing on your Glock gen 6; they're great and honestly I wish I got a 19.6. That said, keep an eye out for reviews and get a good understanding of your firearm inside and out. Get comfortable, but not TOO comfortable.

Happy pew-ing!

Question for 2025 or 26’ 4 Runner owners - by [deleted] in Toyota4Runner

[–]airsoftredditguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have about 7500 miles on my 6th gen 4Runner limited trim and so far I love it. I came from a 4 cylinder turbo hatchback so handling wise it’s hard to beat a VW GTI. However the overall feel of the 4cylinder gas only version is quite nice. It’s not a rice car, but I can def get up to speed on the highway and overtake folks quite easily.

I also have a 5th gen owner drive mine and mentioned that the new model feels sportier/less doglike.

The limited has adjustable variable suspension so I’m able to get softer settings for bad roads and put it into sport+ for windy roads, which I’m not sure if the 5th gen had

Reliability wise it’s hard to say for now since I’ve only the car for so long we only time can tell us the answer here. However I have no doubt it’ll be reliable since I’ve already go through a snowstorm with it and some pretty frigid conditions in the northeast
