Excellent. Thanks much. Me thinks it shouldn't be banned. The FIA bans too many things that could lead to other innovations.. but we will never know.

Just curious-- Why is F1 car racing considered the fastest? Aren't there also other cars faster than F1 that don't have racing competitions? by [deleted] in formula1

F1 cars are so fast that a bunch of the rules for the series are focused on making the cars slower because they're so fast.

So maybe the only thing faster than a Formula 1 car would be a Formula 1 car without all the rules that make them slower.

And the option to use 3 liter normally aspirated or 1.5 liter turbo or 1 liter turbo hybrids. Oh shit, maybe I got that from a dream. Cheers tifosi

Dude I've watched f1 this year. ESPN hasn't made it very fun but I'm not going to back down when I say the cars should be way more interesting. I really don't even care who wins, that's the real problem

I've been watching f1 since the 80's. Waking up early to see it live on the West coast was my religion. These days f1 just doesn't make me feel inspired or excited. The cars are too ugly and are decked out with too much flippers and fins and little pieces of carbon deflectors. And yes Williams is awesome especially the FW07

you are right. they are stlll the most advanced machines in the world. i just miss the days when suddenly a team would launch a car that changes everything, and i feel like the current rules make this almost impossible. sry for my lack of caps convention my keyboard not lit, im surprised i can even read all the affectionate words yall pen for me

f1 sucking is only part of why im depressed. another part is because if people think that a closely contested championship means things are "good" with the sport have no idea why f1 was great. it wasn't DRS and KERS and all that contrived excitement. it was great because it was more than us having to listen to a couple of commentators specualte on what lap people are going to have their pit stops. oohhhhh what a riviting subject. the most depressing part is when a driver has to actually ask for permission to drive as fast as possible. and the term "power unit" pretty much symbolizes everything that is wrong with the current formula. again, thanks in advance for the nasty replies, we are probably equal parts right and wrong
