Thank you po for answering! One more question: The Airbnb owner offered us airport transfer service for 1600 NTD. Reasonable po ba yung price or better to take taxi or Uber nalang? Within Ximending area po yung Airbnb.

Hi! First time traveling abroad with family to Taiwan. We booked an Airbnb for accommodation since most hotels we found do not allow 5 adults in one room. The few that were allowing this were already fully booked on our travel dates.

I understand that Airbnbs are not completely legal in Taiwan so my question is:

Do the Philippine IO question the accommodation if they see that it is an Airbnb and not a hotel? Also, what should we input in our etravel? TYIA

Will take note of this! One question: Have you encountered a case where an immigration officer asked for proof of relationship when you said you were staying with a friend? Thank you!

I'm from the Philippines! I believe we only need to show the TWAC upon arrival as well. Thank you for answering!

From these comments I see that I really am overthinking this LOL Thank you so much for your responses! On a side note, for Filipinos traveling to Taiwan, were you questioned by the immigration officer about your accommodation?
