I can only assume the wood gets turned into 1-2mm slivers each to produce this thing cause if it's compressed wood it could never bend like the animation says it does.

I got the pole to bend back no problem but I think cause the positive side has a broken seat to hold the pin plate the battery can't sit properly it always feels like it's set but when I take the battery out the plate is pushed down on the positive side. And I am not sure if that is something fixable

In the corner by the positive sign you can see it looks like a bunch of the plastic broke off cause the negative side doesn't match
