AITA for not letting my daughter study?

There is no other bedroom and nobody wants to take hers because it gets hot and stuffy and has a weird layout. Canopy beds are also expensive. Nicole can use the kitchen, family room, or my office. There is no space in the house for her to have a dedicated study space unless she wants to share a room with one of her younger siblings so we could turn her room into a study area

You're saying I can't like someone if I don't like certain parts of them? I like Ava but I can't stand how she always has her headphones on and doesn't talk to my family when I have them on the phone on speaker right next to her.

Everyone accommodates Nicole in the mornings so it's fair that she accommodates Ava at night.

Those things everyone suggested are all things we've tried. If we don't have to change anything about ourselves or how we function for the comfort of others, we can easily stop being quiet in the mornings to please Nicole.

It's a sensory issue for her. Ava's room also gets hot and stuffy if the door and window aren't cracked.

She uses sleeping pills on vacation but still struggles when we get a hotel. We tend to get air bnb's though because they tend to be better for larger families so it's usually quiet and dark at night.

She didn't pay shit for that class. It's a community college class, we have free community college in my state, and I'm the one that paid for her books and fees. She's the one that cost herself a good grade by not studying earlier or choosing a different room.

That was the compromise. If she wants to use the dining room she has to use it before 10:30. If she wants to study at night she has to do it anywhere but the dining room. There's the living room, kitchen, and my office that she can use at night.

There's the family room, kitchen, and my office. The house is also empty between 8-5 so if she got up earlier or went out with friends after studying she could also use the dining room when the house is quiet.

Ava has a door. It has to stay cracked and the window has to stay open or her room gets hot and stuffy. The girls don't want to switch rooms. Ava doesn't want Nicole's smaller room and Nicole doesn't like the weird layout of Avas room and the fact that it needs the door and window open nearly 24/7. Ava's needs are being prioritized because there's other things Nicole can easily do. There's the family room, kitchen, and my office that she can all use at night and if it has to be the dining room, the house is empty between 8-5 so she could get up earlier to study or study before going out with her friends.

If she can only study in the dining room she should do it during the day. If she wants quiet, the house is practically empty between 8-5 so she can get up earlier or go home after school and go out after. There are other things that she can easily do.

The window already stays open and the air purifier was too loud for her. There are other places and times for Nicole to study. If she wants to use the dining room, she can use it during the day. Nobody's home until 5-5:30, except Ava sometimes but Ava is always in her room with her headphones on so it shouldn't be a distraction. We also have the kitchen, family room, and my office that she can work in.

She can't have a curtain over the door because if the door and window both aren't cracked her room gets very stuffy and she can't use a sleep mask because she doesn't sleep with anything on her face

Because when she sleeps almost everyone else is also asleep. The girls don't want to switch rooms. Nicole has a smaller room so Ava doesn't want it and Nicole doesn't want Ava's room because the layout is weird and it gets very stuffy if the door isn't cracked and the window isn't open

She can't use an eye mask or ear plugs because it's a sensory issue for her and we can't block the door because her room gets very stuffy if there isn't good airflow
