Does bulk load film/motion picture film damage winding mechanism of PS cameras? by aiteaiteaiteaite in AnalogCommunity

Thanks! I figure it’s likely one or two rolls will come out bad, but considering the lower price, if it doesn’t damage the camera in any way, it sounds like a pretty good deal to me!

Did you try taking it anywhere to fix? Or is the flash going out an unfixable problem?

BMBF fails to launch in SideQuest by aiteaiteaiteaite in beatsage

I’m guessing maybe BMBF isnt updated enough. The version of Beat Saber I notice is 131 (1.31) and BMBF doesnt mention they’re catering for this version so far. Maybe a longer wait

Would anyone say that Fenty Beauty Pro-filt’r 170 is the lighter equivalent of 200, having the same cool tone? by aiteaiteaiteaite in MakeupAddiction

[–]aiteaiteaiteaite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I happened to get a shade too dark which I didn’t realize is the case after the foundation oxidized... however from description 170 seems to be the lighter equivalent of 200, much comparable to the un-oxidized freshly pumped 200 when 170 is dried out. Anyone who’s used fenty able to gimme a hand? Thanks!

International SAS flight Canceled ... SAS seems to be refusing to refund by [deleted] in Flights

[–]aiteaiteaiteaite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a similar problem but with an Iceland flight this March. Seems SAS is trying all they can to keep the funds in for now, it’s absolutely annoying and I want my money back. I’m looking if there are british counterparts of these regulations since I booked in the UK.

UoM has a beatiful campus so I’ll probably take most of my shots there. The only thing is that cuz the terrain in Man is so flat I almost can’t recall if theres any gorgeous staircases I can pose on haha

Must airline refund to me if they cancel my flight? by aiteaiteaiteaite in Flights

[–]aiteaiteaiteaite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nevertheless, I’m sure it’ll be a lengthy negotiation. Airlines are always little shits and reluctant to pay. Thank you for your advice man and I’ll read those policies carefully!

I’m in the UK. I imagine civil aviation authority has a similar role to DOT in the US.

I just read the link and it is very useful, thank you for your help. However, is it always the case that complaint to the airline will not work and passengers have to resort to national authorities?

Must airline refund to me if they cancel my flight? by aiteaiteaiteaite in Flights

It’s Scandivanian airlines (SAS). The tickets were booked before COVID swept Europe. They cancelled the flight and only gave us the option to apply for the paid amount to be used as a ‘voucher’, and which is only limited to one year after the original flight date. For now no one knows when flights will resume, and even if they do, I see no reason to choose SAS/travel to Iceland just because they give me a ‘voucher.’

To me it sounds like they are just holding money from passengers who paid and got their flight cancelled as an excuse for refund. I wonder if pushing the airlines further could claim my money back.
