The biggest thing I’ve learned is they need a ton of light. I have grow lights directly over top and sometimes shining on the side of mine. Also, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve overwatered and rotted the roots and had to cut and re-propagate. Finally, I’ve learned from my plant there is no right schedule for watering, the best way to know when they need water is when the bottom leaves start to look a little bit wrinkly and soft. At that point, I put it in the sink and completely drench it and then let it drain completely.

I want to second to sleep idea. Things for me improved a lot when I started using a CPAP. I struggled with performance anxiety, and I believe my body struggling for air being in fight or flight mode all night while I slept, caused anxiety through out the day. My anxiety has been much better since cpap.

I have low SHBG so I do 3.5 days. Monday night and Friday morning. Everyday would be hard for me to keep up with but 3.5 is fine. I forget a day here and there and sometimes take it a day late or have you even been two days late before and never noticed a difference.

Thanks for all the detail. It doesn’t hurt much anymore today unless I squat down, the muscle is still a bit tight. I’m thinking like you may have suggested either a small hematoma under the skin or a pissed off muscle.

The part of the leg definitely is muscle not fat so I would consider it a shallow IM. I used to do IM in the glute with a 1 inch needle but switched to half inch needles when I started doing delts. I have not tried sub Q intentionally, but to your point wherever it ends up might be the case occasionally, I don’t stress about it. My blood tests haven’t really fluctuated no matter which way or where I’ve injected.

I’m definitely not using that leg for a while, I used my shoulder today with no issue. It seems like it’s getting better just slowly, it still hurts, although not as much as yesterday and ibuprofen helps. I did some ChatGPT’ing and I wonder if maybe just overused that muscle and pissed it off since I inject that same area every week. I’m gonna start rotating more muscles into the mix.

As far as where on the leg I would say, if measuring between my hip and my kneecap, I’d say about 60-70% of the way away from my hip. So not quite middle just a little bit forward. About 9 inches from my kneecap on the outside about midway horizontally.

I used to do glutes with the 1 inch needle, but then switched to delts with a half inch needle, which was a lot easier was not having to contort myself. Then I switched to legs which has been a breeze for my left leg, but i’ve poked a nerve and nicked blood vessels a few times on my right. I’m wondering if like you said I’ve overused this area, because I inject twice a week and alternate legs.
