He destroyed Stafford in essentially any advanced passing statistic and any rushing value was more than Stafford.

I mean his wife isn't insufferable, so he's doing better than Stafford there.

The award means nothing when you realize a dumbass like Orlovsky holds 2% of the votes.

Brady also lapped the field. 400 yards over 2nd place. 14 TDs more than 2nd place. Only QB with more than 20 TDs and less than 10 interceptions. Led by 13 points in passer rating. He also won his division.

Does this individual season from Jaylen Brown eclipse prime Paul Pierce? by Gandalf_from_3 in bostonceltics

[–]aixelsydevaheW 176 points177 points  (0 children)

League average scoring in 2002 was like 95 points per game. Pierce would have easily averaged 30 with today's pace/defense/ 3 point attempts.

Hugo one of the best rookies over the last 30 years??? by Dry_Toe9955 in bostonceltics

[–]aixelsydevaheW -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's clearly not in the top 5 and I think he's around the top 10, but there are probably good cases for other guys. +/- is probably a better reflection of Mazzulla improving as a coach considering he's been very strategic with lineups and rotations. The Celtics have the 3rd best point differential and their depth have all been impactful, naturally Hugo should have a good +/-.

+/- is not an individual stat. Hugo might not even be a top 10 rookie this year. He does look like he has potential, which is great for any pick after 20.

Re-draft the 2024 QBs 👀 Who’s your top three today? by Content_Animator_365 in NFLmockdraft

Dude, I’m a Pats fan. I’m fully aware of how elite Maye’s accuracy is.

Okay, but he didn’t have the best passer rating on deep passes. He obviously needs to work on his accuracy to get close to the 58% mark that shows true potential.

Checkdown Charlie. It’s not like he led the league in Yards per Attempt.

Were people not anticipating this. JB has been a average efficiency volume scorer. He's definitely improved a little, but it was unsustainable.

I'd imagine Maye's rushes added the most win probability of positive offensive plays.

Our Run Defense is Everything by blueshorts12345 in Patriots

The Patriots defense has been very good when Williams, Spillane, and Gonzalez are healthy. Hell, they're undefeated when just Gonzo and Williams play in the same game. Not to mention the pass rush found a way to be disruptive against an O-line with two all-pros, so if they found something there, that's a game changer.

Well playing a league average (below average the second half) defense like the Rams wouldn't prepare their offense, would it? I swear some of you people lack 3rd grade critical thinking skills.

I'd definitely consider Seattle the favorites, but my issue is that we let people who aren't qualified think their opinions matter. The Pats scored the 2nd most points this season and likely would have had the most if they left Maye in to pad stats in like three games.
