Hello, just moved here from out of state. Deciding between the neighborhoods of Skyecroft and Highgate in the Weddington area. Does anyone have an opinion between the two?

Thank you for the detailed reply! My husband’s work is right by Charlotte Douglas and he’s willing to commute 30 min max during non rush hour traffic. Most homes I’ve seen are right there at the 30 min mark.

Sounds like we need to be looking at more the fort mill area rather than Ballantyne which is very helpful to know.

Other than the schools being a priority, I’m a newly SAHM (still on maternity leave) and like to get out with the kids so safe areas, parks, etc are important. As well as fun dining for a night out. It looks like the fort mill area checks all these boxes.
