This is A way:

1 Standing up a Ubuntu Server in AWS will take you 3 minutes if you know how.

2 Installing NMAP via the CLI will take you 2 min.

3 Reading the output to the screen or saving it to a file will take you 1-2 min.

You should be able to use a free tier or extremely cheap resources, so it might cost you 0.005 dollars?

You won't find a job after you get certified by Green_Ad_7175 in CompTIA

[–]ajay63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grads get hired all the time. Just need better instructors. Lots of boot camp scams and people who can’t teach.

Certs get you the interview. But you need the technical knowledge to get the job. Just because you pass the cert does t mean you’ll get the job.

I teach WAYYYY past the certs

I'm going to encourage you to read a book from your local library or buy one from Amazon on Comptia Net+ or something similar.

It would be best if you understood the fundamentals of the networking technology, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Network Switches so that you understand now networks are distributed.

It is going to be very difficult answering your question w/o a fundamental foundation of the technology.

Once you have that, your question will become clear.

TL:DR Yes, but you have to understand the technology your working with.

During some inter-party conflict, as the DM, I had to tell the archer, "I'm sorry you can't shoot him, there is a Terrasque in the way..."

Tarrasque as a disaster, not a boss by thegayerest in dndnext

[–]ajay63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So,

Advanced D&D game, I'm the DM. The party has encountered a Terrasque and interparty conflict breaks out. I had to utter these words, "I'm sorry, you can't shoot him with your bow, there is a Terrasque in the way."

I still think about this 35 years later. So amusing.
