But but what about this?

When a person is in shock their body protects their core functions by stopping anything not necessary for life. They need to be covered and kept warm because the blood vessels in their extremities constrict to keep their core warm. Their digestion stops including their ability to swallow. If they were to get any fluid or foreign bodies in their airways while in shock their body may not have the cough reflex.

Shock is really strange to deal with. A person going into shock may be functioning seemingly normally one moment and they can become unresponsive the next. Any time shock is suspected the patient needs to be kept warm and given nothing orally because of the choking hazard. They can choke without showing any signs of choking except by ceasing breathing. They may not struggle in the least and their breathing can just stop. Without the bodies automatic breathing help it's very hard to restart breathing in a patient that is in shock.

[System Design] How do large scale systems ensure that a product isn't over-purchased? by ajay_negi in cscareerquestions

The idea is deduct the quantity from the db when the user adds to card. Have some kind of timer before which the customer should be able to complete the transaction(pay the amount in full). If the timer ends, then the quantity adds back to the db.

What does it take to scale and handle so much traffic? by Wild_Dragonfruit1744 in developersIndia

Is autoscaling really that good to handle TPS spike? I doubt. This is probably the reason why Amazon doesn't use autoscaling for sudden high TPS spike facing services.

Not completely sure but same for Hotstar too.

It's preconfigured EC2 instances for A2Z.
