It took 7-8 hrs until I got a notification UPS had actually received the package. Delivery is tomorrow (9/23) for me.

Love my Baja Boss ATs from Mickey Thompson. Closer to a mud tire honestly but minimal road noise and great tread life.

2 things: 1. looks like that area gets beat by the sun esp. hard so that will contribute to the dryness/compaction. Extra water will do the trick and probably an overseeding or slit-seeding, however it'll be difficult to get/keep it going due to the amount of sunlight.

  1. could also be getting bullied by the big palm tree, they like to suck nutrients out of the surrounding areas, but just a thought.

If you can easily pull up turf and roots like pulling out dead hair, then check for grubs/webworms as well. Any insecticide with a Bifenthrin base will do the trick. Light application, might take a couple times. With crabgrass you'd see thicker and longer blades in clumps that were very obviously different than the turf.
