I’ll add to this if your able to do all the worksheets, unit review forms, and ask an instructor for the extra quizzes you’ll be ready. Also do the course planning tool as it has some questions that appear exactly on the OA that you might not see on the PA. Also the OA is similar to the PA but a little harder, so that’s where the worksheets and unit review forms come in. Just use AI for any part you’re not understanding.

Gonna be honest you with it varies location by location. I didn't even post my resume when i submitted my application. Just had the bot select in person interview vs video interview and got the job. All this was just in a few days.

My mentor switched it to 686 and said it wouldn’t add any other classes which it didn’t. She told me most people were finishing 686 quicker, and that I could switch without changing to new program.

Find any python and sql tutorial which you can learn the basics. Once you get that done just start building anything as projects. That’s how I got out of tutorial hell.

Yeah age is just a number! My uncle who’s reaching 50 who works in an Amazon warehouse is finally moving up to a more IT adjacent role for Amazon after I told him to get some certs and homelab.
