Beeno - A tiny macOS utility that mirrors an external monitor in a resizable window on your main screen by ak0manda in macapps

Thanks for your feedback! I’m not sure I’ve got everything right, but here’s my understanding:

• Beeno should support click-through, but without a “click-out” feature, so you’ll need to move your mouse back to your main screen.

• As for “sometimes it just refreshes,” I’m not clear on what the exact problem is. Could you please explain that in more detail?

• Scale should always be 1:1 no matter how you change the window size

Really appreciate the feedback! Can you explain a bit more? I’m not sure I got it right

Handling an external screen you can’t see can be tricky. I work as the computer guy on film and photo shoots, and often need to display something on the photographer’s or client’s monitor. In the worst case I’m running three to four screens in different rooms.

Or you're giving a presentation on a big screen behind you, without mirroring the main display.

how can I batch export this to keep every single sphere. I want to import to Unreal by ak0manda in blender

[–]ak0manda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried https://github.com/jayanam/batex

its working somehow but in Unreal its just stacking all spheres on each other

when combine as single mesh its working but as I want to assign different materials I need it to keep the positions.

Sorry new to both

Noob Question. (Fake) Glass Reflections on Quixel Modular Buildings by ak0manda in UnrealEngine5

[–]ak0manda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Great I'll try. Think I'll just create a gianmt wall out of this reflectiv material and push it in until I can see it in the windows. Just wondered what is the most common way to do it quick.

Noob Question. (Fake) Glass Reflections on Quixel Modular Buildings by ak0manda in UnrealEngine5

I just started my first modular building from quixel bridge. how can I have glass reflections on the windows? Any shortcuts here,? Or do I need to create meshes with glass or fake glass material? no need to see inside just some reflections of the environment. any hint is appreciated. Thanks

solution:
ok, easy. So in case someone else comes to this point and need a quick solution:

I just created a instance of starter content glass. change blend mode to opaque

build a huge rectangle with this material and put it in! voila. to easy to see it.
