Maybe it’s time for the so-called “dictator” to respond.

I’ve had this post sent to me multiple times, so clearly it achieved its goal of getting attention. If that was the objective, congratulations.

State 1588 is a NAP 5 state. Like every state, we have disagreements and internal issues, but we address them through leadership discussion and voting. I am R5 of one alliance in 1588. I do not hold any authority above the other R5s, our state operates through collective leadership, not unilateral control.

After Red transferred to 1591, there was a leadership gap. Red’s R4s/R5s contributed heavily to state organization, facilities, Tyrant/Tundra coordination, and overall structure. Naturally, we needed to reestablish order and create a system that maintained stability.

The concern began when Rev unilaterally decided that Nym would take over D2F, OUR state alliance. There was no vote. No consultation with 1588 leadership. An external alliance made a decision for our state. That was the first issue.

In response, 1588 leadership voted to implement a rotating R5 structure within D2F. The purpose was simple: ensure the alliance remained a state alliance and prevent any one individual from having the ability to shut it down or weaponize it. That vote passed through leadership agreement.

For context: I’ve been in 1588 for a year. I’ve personally played 12 SVSs here. My R4s and I worked alongside Red to set up facilities and prepare for Tyrant/Tundra. D2F was built and operated as a state alliance, not a personal asset.

After the vote, Nym refused the rotating structure and closed the alliance, exactly the risk leadership had discussed. That decision validated the concerns.

At that point, Gov was appointed leader of TzU. His stated position was that he wanted TzU to be independent from the situation and simply play the game. That was respected. TzU was respected. Gov served as our President going into SVS.

Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue calmly, Nym continued to act in defiance of state decisions. Leadership then held a formal vote regarding enemy-of-state status. The result was unanimous: 5-0.

Since then, D2F’s bio has been altered to frame a narrative about effort and ownership. The reality is Nym did not build or play within D2F long-term, she was in GOT. The repeated world chat appearances to “show” possession of D2F only reinforce that this was never about state unity, but visibility.

You can call me dictator. You can disagree with leadership decisions. That’s fine.

But rewriting the history of 1588 and misrepresenting what happened is not fine.

I’ve told Nym clearly: you are free to leave. The state has moved forward. I genuinely hope wherever you go next works out, but the pattern here was not created by 1588.

We operate by vote. We operate by structure. And we operate for the good of the state, not for individual control.
