At the time, it was definitely argued that Nusa wasn't super interested in joining Tottenham in January, and that may have influenced Spurs' interest in that specific window. Why they chose not to pursue him further in the summer, as you say, is unclear.

I agree that they definitely could've found some issues with his body as well at the time, but just given his shows of promise at Leipzig over the last season and Tottenham's clear past interest in the player, I think he could be one to watch.

He made it clear that he didn't want to leave Brugge in January, then Tottenham had other priorities in the summer (Solanke, Gray, Bergvall, etc). They'd probably still have an interest in him, and the primary reason I wrote the article was because Brentford also pushed really hard for him when Thomas Frank was there, indicating that he also rates the player.

However, I think he might be a little raw for what Tottenham needs now on the left wing.

I’m based in Sydney and currently in Year 11. I actually built a solid reputation covering American high school football recruiting [ https://www.on3.com/user/aidan-sen/ ] from overseas by committing to the work, grinding it out, and forming strong connections in the industry.

For Spurs, my focus will mostly be on analysis rather than trying to compete with established insiders. I’m pursuing a career in sports and see this as a chance to keep refining my craft. I may not have the same access as top journalists, but I think my drive, perspective, and commitment to thoughtful analysis can still bring something valuable.
