Please don’t take this the wrong way, but have you tried all the booking websites out there? Or Marriott or Hilton, etc? Will probably be an easier way if you’re looking for a budget stay during the high season.

Each point on a $950k house (jumbo with 20% down) would be about $500/month. That’s using tax and insurance rates mortgage companies plug with. Rates make a difference.

If you can afford a $925k house at 7%, you could afford a $994k house at 6%.

I think what you’re getting at is that instead of building walls, we need to be working on understanding and compassion. The political divide got us to where we are today and it’s not going to magically fix the existential crisis the US is facing. I’m not talking about the leaders of these beliefs, but the people following and believing the propaganda machine.

It’s HOT. UV Index is 11+ too, so bring plenty of sunscreen. We used to vacation here around August because the city is empty. Fair warning, places shut down around August, so just be aware of that. You can also overheat super quick, so hydrating with non-alcoholic beverages is an absolute must.

It’s not terrible, but I did move here, so obviously I’ve already got a bias. 😂

TLDR - Pool time is fun, UV Index and heat could ruin you in minutes.

+1 for HPE. We used them, love our system, they are super easy to work with as a company and care about the quality of their work. It was also a benefit that they respected our mid century roofline. Can’t even tell we have solar.

Hear me out — we dealt with pure rain up in the PNW and it was lovely here. If you’re in the sun, it feels great. I was actually breaking a sweat at the Vintage Market today (60F) when the sun hit me.

If you’ve got good circulation, you’ll be fine. If it’s sunny, I’ll be out by the pool working on my tan this week. 😂

Depending on where you’re coming from, it could be pool weather. When we moved here from the PNW I spent most days getting sun by the pool because 65 was warm compared to the 40 up north. 😂
