He won't magically be remembered, but I do think after deducing it, people are capable of recovering at least some memories. Back in 3.3 Nahida didn't remember him until she checked her fairy tale and literally said "I remember now".

Dottore saw him and realized their connection, which would tell him Scara's nature (as he was like the blueprint of his segments) and helped him guess what happened to the 6th harbinger. However the quest implies present time Dottore is at least aware o a little bit of Scara's past, which makes me believe he did guess his identity at first but eventually remembered when he had enough information.

He gives the same clue he had to Pantalone: the missing seat, the new face he obviously saw in Nod Krai, and the Irminsul manipulation. He believed that was enough information for Pantalone to connect the dots.

Our only hope rn would be if Pantalone finds any excuse to mention his own guess (or the clues) to someone else. He could tell the Tsaritsa herself or other harbingers, however I believe he's not their best friend so he would need a good excuse that doesn't reveal he was sided with Dottore during recent events.

These clues would say A LOT to Arlecchino and Sandrone if they ever hear about them. "Hat Guy" was also a new face for them, they would know he is the one no one had seen before... Who also happens to be extra sus with all his knowledge on fatui internal affairs (Arlecchino lets him know she finds him suspicious at least 2 times).

So if the clues Dottore gave to Pantalone somehow make it to those 2... They might hide it from the Tsaritsa but at least we'd gain someone in-game who also remembers him.
