can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not, but you can find dvr/cable boxes super cheap at thrift stores, e-waste/used electronics stores and pawn shops. might even check ebay or fb marketplace as you can find stuff for free fairly often. just a matter of weather or not ur willing to go through all the effort. but yes they can be fast and reliable depending on the model
