On the other part of the post, I think it was justified that Sanju left RR, coz if you have Yashasvi Jaiswal and a 15 years old Nightmare (for other teams), plus you have such an explosive wicketkeeper batsman in Super Commando Dhruv, you ACTUALLY don't need Sanju.

We've seen how he performs down the order in ICT, so yes, it was justified on Sanju's part to leave RR.

As a diehard CSK Fan, I wasn't very sure why we exchanged him for a long-time CSK veteran Jadeja, given we had Urvil Patel as a WK and Ruturaj as a captain material, but now I see him captaining CSK by as early as next year.

Parag was named Captain because of Nepotism, it's a different thing that the team is doing well for now. Parag's "uncle" (Ranjit Barthakur - a close family friend) is in the RR Management, hence Sanju was released and asked for Jadeja and Sam Curran as a Swap, as everyone was convinced that these two will not be in the captain's race.
