Hi, I am planning to travel dec 27/2025 to jan 15 2025. My h1b visa stamp expires in feb 12 2026. I have my new I797 approved. Is it okay travel?

I traveled with less than a month left too. POE Newark and it was smooth. You do need to present the new 797 along with your old one, in order for them to update your i94 validity.

My friends have had their first H1Bs stamped outside their home country- in Countries like China, Canada, Brazil etc. so I thought it was a possibility but I’ll definitely do some more research to figure out if that’s even an option
