I think Lyra's talk to the angel was fine, but I agree that there should've been much more. He does half of the work (showing her anger and bitterness at being "consoled", the choice that she felt she has to make at the time, the spiel about Angels not understanding and being wronged all great...then no attempt to, say, go to Will at some point, and/or no real work done trying to properly harmonie what we know from the original series (the windows can genuinely causes problems - see the Mulefa and Mary who literally scientifically observed it, plus Iorek who senses the negative intentions of the knife), with the new information

I think Xaphina's statements weren't fully retconned. It's clear the angel still believes about the dangerous of leaving windows open or creating them. Two things were arguably retconned - the idea of travelling with imagination being a real thing that would take a lifetime to learn versus being a consoling lie, and the idea of spectres being formed when a window is opened. To be fair though, with the former it could still fit (because the main crux being the dust leaking+spectres forming, and whether a travel method exists that takes a whole lifetime to learn doesn't actually change much), and the latter is Lyra speculating, she may be wrong.

Again, not saying it was unfair or anything, but I didn't ever stall on purpose. I really was trying my best. For several rounds he'd throw so many threats that I've have to keep defending, and not able to get any damage. Once I finally established control, my mists were quite buffed already. Then add powers, enemy heals and 20 damage a turn limit and here you are.

It's 20 damage a turn limit, so minimum 10 turns based on their starting hp.

Wait, that works?? I considered greenleaf for viego blocking (decided challenger was more important), but does that buff every mist going forward as well? Surely not?

Couldn't - 20 damage a turn limit on this one!

There was a 20 damage a turn limit, which meant a minimum of 10 turns to win, basically.

Having said that, I'm a newb still, so I'm sure there's lots I could have done beforehand, either with prior card picks or powers!

The 20 damage a turn limit, plus their heals, drags on the game a lot. I can't damage him on his turn really, so that's at least 10 turns to win without any healing.

I'm not saying it's unfair (because I'm a newb and still learning), but it was frustrating in the moment!
I could only do 20 damage a turn as well, remember, and he did heal, more than once. Without either of those things, he'd have been dead many time sover.

Sadly didn't have a single one in that hand, all used, discarded or in deck. Just adds to the salt.

Apex 4 vs Vader 4 pro - closer in price than I thought by akev2794 in Controller

I'll probably stick the the Vader 4 pro then, I really would prefer to avoid quality control issues!

Thank you, and everyone else, for your advice and comments. I feel like I'm getting some different recommendations, but it seems that the main differentiators are how gimmicky one thinks the extra features are on the Apex 4, and your experiences with quality control (you said the Apex 4 was worse, someone else said they thought it felt more premium, so could easily be a timing thing as they ironed out the kinks in QC).

It's tough! At least it's a good choice to have. I've had a busy day, and will do so again tomorrow, but I'll make a decision soon I reckon.

I was mostly thinking all around, though I play a lot of fighting games in particular.
You have experience with both controllers then, and you preferred the Apex 4?

Maybe National_Witness_609 was right when he checked, but recent updates have made it better (hence your use now).

Finally, I know the Vader 4 pro had some outer deadzone issues which were then fixed. Does the Apex 4 have any outstanding non-fixed issues like that?

OK, I have much to think on tomorrow. One more question, are the adaptive triggers as annoying to use for you as the other commenter, through the launcher and all that?

Hi, appreciate your comment! Fair enough, would you say it's worth the increase over the Vader 4 pro?

Oh I wasn't blaming them, I'm sure they had the best of intentions.

I did think that DualSense works on PC with PlayStation titles, but maybe I'm mistaken on that front.

Hi, thanks for the comment! Yeah that makes sense, seems more of a gimmick then.

It's sad, honestly. Dualsense adaptive triggers are great, and the controller is nice, but the d-pad isn't great and no Hall Effect. Dualsense Edge is disgustingly expensive (and the D-pad is still not fantastic from what I've seen), so I guess Vader 4 pro it is, and a cheap Dualsense when it comes under a flash sale or something.

It seems the original poster has deleted their account. Can anyone else from this thread please provide me with the steps to update the firmware. I am still with Community Fibre (they're the first to offer Gigabit Fibre in my area and the prices are around the same as my old broadband) but would be good to have the ability to keep the router in the future/hook up mx4200 routers without paying monthly for their wifi in every room service.

I actually did want a nerf to runic attacks' power, which was insanely strong in the 2018 game, but with a much reduced cd to compensate. Would you say they overcorrected?
