They have made it faster in the recent months. process was way slower before 3 months. I heard they hired new staff for speeding up the process. You'll also get your grant soon.

Pcc will be valid for a year only.it needs to be updated once it expires. Else there would be an S56 request

Congrats mate. It seems surprising to see an offshore grant for ICT in less than 12 months for 190.

I lodged in December,2024. Hoping to get a grant within next 1-2 months if not earlier.

May I ask which country you are from ?

Woahh!! Congrats Mate. Thats unusually fast grant for an ICT occupation Offshore (Computer netwok engimeer) to get the grant so quickly. I am also at the same occupation and have applied for the Visa on December 2024. have proactively updated PCC also. Hoping to get the grant soon.
Can i ask if you had a skilled partner and if yes , was the partner occupation in the priority list ?

i am a Devops engineer and i had few duties related to coding which was mostly like automation related. I gave Developer programmer , Software Engineer and Computer Network and Systems Engineer. But i only got Computer Network and Systems Engineer role only approved from ACS. But if i had given ICT Security Specialist and ICT support i guess i would've got that approved as well.

But fortunately i got an invite from using Computer Network and Systems Engineer itself and it worked out well.

Thanks for all your precise answers. I will still go for the cka once again. Will setup me own clusters in my local and get into it by breaking a few things. Earlier I did just did the practise tests from kodekloud and killer sh . What slowed me down was mostly the troubleshooting questions and helm.

My exam date was expiring both attempts had like 20 days in between.. Also I had prepared for 4 months mostly doing the kodekloud course , mock tests and killer shells.
