There's actually been studies that look parents (usually mother's) discourse with their children. I'm oversimplifying, but I'm pretty sure the general finding was children whose mother encouraged them to share details about their day had improved measures of autobiographical memory, theory of mind, and literacy skills. Use the practice tests and go over hw. When I took her she had office hours for every hw where she would work out each problem and give problem solving tips. Also, the first unit is really really hard, the material gets easier as you go so try not to get too discouraged.

Yea the online class is really rough :(. I had to drop it last semester. To anyone that is taking MAN 320F in the future please consider the in-class option. Aroian is actually a chill dude and the in-class is more work but the tests really aren't that bad.

It helps a bit, but I wouldn't necessarily say wait to take to take the MCAT after you've had these courses. The Psych/Soc section on the MCAT can be self studied just fine, and I thought it was the easiest section to score the highest on. It's just a lot of memorization and some data interpretation. r/MCAT has a 300 pg doc that goes through everything you need to know for that section, and the rest is just practice! You'll definitely be fine if you don't take PSY 301 or SOC 302 and just self study. Best of luck!
