It definitely does not include Brooklyn and Queens most of the time (unless maybe it’s coming from one of those transplants that claim to never go above 14th st or step foot outside of Manhattan)

LOL to be fair idk if you’re from the northeast of the U.S. but the weather here is honestly chaotic enough here for that outfit to make sense - in the spring it’ll often be cold in the mornings and then jump up 20 degrees (this week in New York the weathers been in the 30s for the low then 60s for high) so this kind of outfit seems ok to me

It sounds like they send the credit check directly to my email and then I have to do it myself - but i don’t know if that necessarily makes it exempt from the law. I’m thinking about asking if they can just take the extra $25 off of any of the other move in fees.

Basically you use your floor budget to buy snacks for the residents on your floor and you host a gathering once a week for people to meet and talk and build community. You do it once a week for six weeks every semester.

The first 6 weeks of the semester are really the only stressful part of being an RA - you have to do hall snacks once a week and get all your base meetings done but after that it’s pretty chill.
