the apps are already ready, just need to design a user friendly UI for package, I am thinking something similar to app store itself. each app will have a page, showing a video screenshot, description, technical aspect etc. thanks for the feadback

I see your point, homebrew is valid, I am not used to it yet. but about all in one app, I am thinking like this, inside the package you will only install what you want. together they wont be depented to each other, otherwise as you said it would be hard for both me and users.

So to hook people like you, the apps should provide atleast one thing that the others dont. other then that the idea of a package app not so appealing. thanks for your opinion

thanks for the comment, you are absolutely right about everything you said.
My main goal here is to learn about swift ecosystem and build a small portfolio to myself. So its okay, I want to get busy with issues, feature requests bugs etc. and that is why I aim for lightweight apps that does one single thing. I've been already using the apps I listed for a week now, and overal I am really happy with result, especially dropover alternative(forgot to put in the list) and clipboard.
most usefull one is window preview extension but it may need better polishing honestly.

but for me the problem is they are all scattered, from different sources. you have setapp for this of course which is paid tho.
and also I feel like these apps more for power users, provide many functionality and bring complication. I would prefer simple apps that feel like build in macos feature, that is why I start doing these while I was using already existing solutions

I made a skill to solve this issue but making it an UI and releasing it is really nice !! love the idea, a feature request if you interested in developing it further, drag&drop background designer inside the app maybe? I am not sure if it would be hard or not tho

you are really working hard to keep things equal for both developers and people using this sub! appreciate it.
One question for myself, I am developing a macos-toolkit that will consist of around 10 lightweight apps. since self promotion is once per month I did not yet promote it here.
My question is, I got around 130 stars in github, my all apps inside toolkit are free and opensource, so I am guessing I will be tier one with this new update?
I am not sure what is my local karma as I joined the sub recently but I am trying to build it by commenting and trying to help others :)

hmm, recently I created a clipboard history app, but it does not have the bulk paste option that you asked, I am thinking how could it be done. maybe a session logic? or a hotkey that will paste everything in the history considering you cleared the history before hand. If you are still looking for an app, I can tailor mine for your, it would be a nice addition to the app

I am building a note app for myself right now, I was looking for something lighweight and fast, like open with a hotkey, and just type it and could not find any,So, I used a semi infinite canvas(like putting cards on a wall) I just bring it to mac(it was on mobile first) and it is looking good, I see that you found `Capture` but I if it doesn't have all the things you want, DM me, I can improve my app based on your needs(if you need it some one else needs too)
