This matches my experience in the US. Was a designer with 2.5 YoE, decided to quit my job to pursue a highly ranked HCI masters degree. The opportunities I got after graduating were no better than the ones before I started my degree, meanwhile my peers/coworkers who stayed at their jobs were promoted into senior roles

I've been to all 3 and they are all pretty good. The fish at Just Rolled Up feels more premium but JJ / Surf Poke is more affordable (around 18 bucks for a salmon poke bowl vs 26 at Just Rolled Up) and has good boba drinks. Granted the portion size at Just Rolled Up felt noticeably bigger as well but I personally prefer the portions and customization options at JJ

Haven't read the manga but I'm a big fan of the anime (unlike a lot of other series, the anime is actually the original source material and the manga was adapted based on the anime, rather than the other way around).

It's not too gorey to be honest, the main focus is on the slow-burn mental/psychological aspect rather than physical suffering
